The Imperial Supreme Council
of Grand Inspector Generals of
the Thirty-Third and Last Degree
Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite Masons
International Jurisdiction, Incorporated

GREETINGS,
Welcome to our site, where you can learn about Masonic history, our fraternal association, and our national and international commitment to improving lives through educational, charitable, religious, and scientific community services.
Our jurisdiction is linked to Baron Auguste Hugo DeBulow, a French nobleman whom the Supreme Council of France elected Sovereign Grand Inspector on June 9, 1860 and appointed representative of the Hayes Council. During his visit to America, he conferred the 33° degree on “colored” Masons, including Bro. Dr. Peter W. Ray of New York, Bro. Jonathan Miller of Pennsylvania, Bro. Levi Anderson of Delaware, and Bro. Lemuel G. Griffin of Maryland.
The following served as Sovereign Grand Commanders of the Supreme Council of the United States through 1897: Baron Auguste De Bulow (1864–1870), Patrick Reason (1870–1879), Dr. Peter W. Ray (1879–1892), and A.B. Allen (1892–1897).

On August 18, 1988, J. Edward Long filed a petition with the Arkansas Secretary of State to declare the Imperial Council of the Ahura Grand Orient a corporation under Act 176 of 1963 of the Arkansas General Assembly, Arkansas Code Annotated §4-28-201 et seq. The court issued an order approving its incorporation.
